Solder items are handmade and there will always be some variations between pieces. All pieces are subject to wear and tear; please respect your jewellery, it should be handled and worn with care. Normal wear and tear on jewellery items is not considered a fault.
If you feel a piece of jewellery is faulty, or if breakage has occurred, please contact us. The piece will be assessed in line with our warranty guidelines.
Repairs are available and are assessed individually. Depending on the case they may incur a fee.
Solder covers the cost of reasonable repairs under normal wear for the first six months after purchase. If a piece shows signs of improper care, or is damaged in a way resulting from something other than normal wear, we will repair the piece at cost. An estimate of the repair will be given prior to the repair.
After 6 months, we will repair pieces at cost.
Any necessary repair of bespoke pieces will be assessed on an individual basis.
Customers will be responsible for all postage and redelivery charges for resizing. Resizing fees will apply, this is quoted on a case by case basis depending on the piece. Please consult the sizing guide prior to ordering to ensure your order correctly.
Please note that if any other jeweller undertakes work on one of our pieces, including resizing or repairs, this warranty will be voided. We strongly recommend returning to us for repairs and resizes, we do not take any responsibility for repairs or resizes undertaken by other jewellers.

Solder pieces use predominantly natural stones. These can naturally vary in shade and colour. Stones shown in online images may not always exactly match the stone in the jewellery piece purchased.
All Solder pieces are handmade, this means that each piece is unique.
Please consult us about each individual piece for specific turnaround times. If you need a piece before a specific date, please contact us before ordering to ensure this will be possible and avoid any disappointment. Every effort will be made to have your piece to you as quickly as possible. Please note that turnaround times are an approximate guide and are subject to change or delay.
Shipping and handling
Australian domestic orders are sent via Australia Post.
Solder ships worldwide. International standard shipping is sent via Australia Post. International standard parcels can take anywhere between 3 and 10 working days to arrive.
Please note that shipping time does not include production time.
All payments on solder.net.au are processed via through our secure payment gateway, payments can also be made via EFTPOS or online direct deposit to a nominated bank account if that is preferred.
At Solder we have Layby - whereby you can arrange with us a flexible payment plan. Once item has been completely paid for we will ship your item to you.
We understand that buying a piece of art can be a large investment; so we want you to know that we will accept alternative payment plans to facilitate this.
